No. Creating an account, exploring routes, posting and making plans are free. When you book a stay you pay the property's price; we add no booking fee.
A route is a trip plan with stops, notes and photos. In the app, tap Create to build your own route and publish it to everyone, to friends only, or keep it private. You can also invite friends to edit it with you.
Set up a plan like "Let's meet in Moda tonight" in seconds: you choose the place, the time and who can see it. Invitees answer Going, Maybe or Not going, and each plan has its own chat and an add-to-calendar option.
Free Roam shows open trip plans and travellers near you. Only you can turn your location on, and you can turn it off at any time. Others see only an approximate ~500 m area, never your exact spot.
You pick the visibility of every post and plan. In Settings you can change who can message you, block someone, or report content; our team reviews every report.
Route and city pages show places to stay near the stops. On a property page, pick your dates and guests to check availability. Cancellation and payment terms differ per property and are shown before you book.
Yes. In the app, go to Profile > Delete my account to permanently remove your account and posts. You can also remove individual posts, routes and photos at any time.
For now you can start right away with the Web App: open app.thenext.place and add it to your home screen if you like, no install needed. iOS and Android apps are on the way.
Apply on the List your property page and our team will get in touch. Your property is then shown to travellers on routes that pass nearby.
